For the first time ever, the World Aquatics Championships 2025 will be making its splash in Singapore from 11 July to 3 Aug 2025 at the Singapore Sports Hub and Sentosa!
As the first Southeast Asian country to host this world-class event, Singapore’s selection shows our growing global reputation for excellence, hospitality, and world-class sporting infrastructure, alongside other events like Formula 1 and the HSBC Women’s World Championship. This flagship event is expected to attract over 2,500 elite athletes from over 190 countries, to compete in the six aquatic disciplines of swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming, open water swimming and high diving.
Ranked second only to the Olympics in prestige for water sports, the World Aquatics Championships is not just for spectators. It is also an opportunity for sports enthusiasts to participate in community challenges, enjoy interactive exhibitions and be part of sporting history. Let’s make every cheer count for #TeamSingapore and welcome all athletes coming to our shores!
