First started in 1985, the lights of Geylang Serai have been an illuminating staple of Hari Raya for decades.

The lights of #GeylangSerai have been an illuminating staple of #HariRaya for decades.

The light-up complements the bustling #RamadanBazaar, which welcomes visitors from all backgrounds to join in the breaking of fast and share in the delicious treats of the season.

Along with the light-ups of Chinatown for Chinese New Year, Little India for Deepavali, and Orchard Road for Christmas, these lights are a beautiful reminder that Singapore's diversity is something that truly shines.
