First started in 1985, the lights of Geylang Serai have been an illuminating staple of Hari Raya for decades.

The lights of #GeylangSerai (opens in new tab) have been an illuminating staple of #HariRaya (opens in new tab) for decades.

The light-up complements the bustling #RamadanBazaar (opens in new tab), which welcomes visitors from all backgrounds to join in the breaking of fast and share in the delicious treats of the season.

Along with the light-ups of Chinatown for Chinese New Year, Little India for Deepavali, and Orchard Road for Christmas, these lights are a beautiful reminder that Singapore's diversity is something that truly shines.
