The Chingay Parade in Singapore is a vibrant tapestry of the nation's rich multicultural heritage and evolving traditions. Initiated in 1973 by our founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Chingay was originally a street parade celebrating the Chinese New Year.
