It’s 1 October — International Coffee Day! ☕️ 

Coffee-drinking is a national pastime. Whether it’s at a third-wave cafe, commercial chain, or kopitiam, it is a daily ritual for many.

The humble kopi as we know it was born from our resourceful  orefathers — Robusta beans were used in place of Arabica beans as they were more climate-resilient and sock filters were used as they were cheaper. With its blend of the East and West, kopi reminds us that good outcomes can arise when we embrace differences and make them our own.
