Did you know Singapore has an official Children's Day song and it means "May You Find Happiness"? Semoga Bahagia, a song that students still often sing in school, was composed by the talented Zubir Said, who also penned our national Anthem.
Chosen as the official Children's Day Song in 1961, the lyrics gently remind our yong ones to embrace virtues that would lead them to a bright future. The values include being progressive, patriotic, and respectful; traits that are endearing now more than ever.
