What are APTs? #DigitalDefence

What is one of Singapore’s biggest threats right now?

APT groups have attacked, and are still attempting to attack Singapore. They are a class of cyber threat actors that are highly sophisticated and well-resourced. They typically act on State objectives, steal sensitive information and importantly, have the power to disrupt our way of life.Their goals are clear: to disrupt Singapore’s critical infrastructure that delivers our essential services — healthcare, telcos, water, transport, and power. For Singapore, our position as a leading digital hub means we must remain vigilant against these threats.
